The comparison between the results obtained with this advanced survey concept and the final out turn cargo weight in calibrated shore tanks brought an accuracy of 0,1 % to light! (See also our publication in the journal of The Nautical Institute "Seaways" April 1995). The calculations with our computers are based on the vessel's body plan (so we really take Archimedes seriously!). Of course the entire survey is also calculated simultaneously with the "traditional" hydrostatic data. With our software we are convinced that more "weak spots" within the present draught survey can be seriously improved. |
